Last summer, @jonahvischer and the children and youth receiving care from COBA-Begeleiding realized an impressive mural on the side wall of the Dutch Wine Museum. This colorful mural embodies various themes central to COBA-Begeleiding, such as workshop activities, kitchen activities, and sports and play activities.
COBA-Begeleiding offers support to children (primary school age) and youth (secondary school age) with diverse challenges, including ASD, AD(H)D, attachment issues, and behavioral problems. Each child or young person has specific learning goals, which are addressed in an accessible, playful way with appropriate guidance, activities, and projects, such as this mural.
The mural took approximately 7 days to complete and was realized by about thirty participants, ten colleagues, and several volunteers. With a width of about fifty meters and a height of four meters, the mural forms an impressive addition to the museum's surroundings.
The mural was created using Loop Colors spray cans, among others, which are known for their quality and versatility. These spray cans are suitable for artists of all levels, making them ideal for workshops like this one. With Loop Colors, participants were able to let their creativity run wild and contribute to the beautiful final result of the mural.
This collaboration between COBA-Begeleiding and the Dutch Wine Museum not only demonstrates the creative skills of the participants but also emphasizes the importance of inclusion and community collaboration. The mural serves as a lasting symbol of empowerment and expression for those who contributed to it.
